(NASDAQ: CMVT), and the world’s leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communications services, today announced a collaboration with ACCESS Co., Ltd., a leading provider of embedded Internet software solutions, that will enable mobile carriers to deliver the mobile Internet on a single device that supports Compact HTML (CHTML), XHTML-Basic and wireless application protocol (WAP).

With this joint solution, mobile subscribers have the ability to access advanced wireless services based on CHTML, XHTML-Basic and WAP via a single wireless device, such as a mobile phone or a PDA. This solution enhances wireless operators’ service offerings, while enabling consumers around the world to experience the mobile Internet based on today’s popular protocols.

The Comverse mobile Internet solution offers carriers a personalized interface for corporate and consumer users.
