TOKYO, Japan – August 24, 2006 — ACCESS Co., Ltd., (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and internet access technologies, today announced that UTStarcom, Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI), a global leader in IP-based, end-to-end networking solutions and services, has selected ACCESS’ EMCS Mobile Client Suite for deployment in UTStarcom’s T66 dual-mode handset. The T66 is a dual-mode GSM/CDMA handset customized for China Unicom’s dual-mode service, World Wind, that has been massively deployed since the end of June

EMCS Mobile Client Suite includes browser, MMS and Java and is a tightly integrated, flexible, modular and extensible software solution that is designed to significantly reduce development time and costs and expected to be particularly suitable for devices with limited hardware resources, helping manufactures quickly introduce advanced new mobile devices.
