Oberhausen, Germany, 25 August, 2015 − ACCESS CO., LTD (IBC stand 14.D14), a global provider of advanced software technologies to the automotive, mobile, Internet of Things (IoT) and digital TV markets, today announced that visitors to its IBC stand will see its signature multiscreen management solution ACCESS Twine™ extended with new applications and features for Android, iOS and Windows. The IBC demos show how ACCESS Twine enables operators to deliver high quality content over any network and to any connected device. A Tier 1 operator has already integrated the functionality to stream content to multiscreen over 3G and 4G networks, taking advantage of next generation Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks.

“Since its launch twelve months ago, ACCESS Twine has been extended to enable consumers to aggregate all their multimedia libraries into a single interface, allowing them to access a wide range of content in the operator environment. At the same time, triple and quadruple play operators are deploying multiscreen services facilitating video streaming, which enables them to upsell data packages and increase ARPU,” said Dr Neale Foster, COO and VP Global Sales, ACCESS Europe. “With the added support that we will be demonstrating at IBC, we are enabling operators to seamlessly deliver any type of content, regardless of its size and resolution, to any device and over any network.”

ACCESS Twine offers a highly scalable hybrid architecture enabling operators to combine the storage and delivery capability of the cloud with the full control of media distribution. The solution is supported by regular software updates, enhancing functionality and expanding hardware choices for subscribers. ACCESS Twine also ensures that operators can easily gather and analyse consumer behaviour data, such as devices used to access the service, preferred types of content or storage habits.

ACCESS Twine™ is a multimedia management solution enabling operators to connect consumers regardless of the devices plugged into the multiscreen service, and to aggregate large amounts of data. IBC demonstrations will allow operators to understand how support for diverse Conditional Access (CA) and Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems alongside flexible application technologies provides a robust multiscreen security solution. New at IBC are enhanced data mining functionality and remote access to personal content inside the home, in addition to the virtual multiscreen content library functionality originally showcased at CES 2015.

Demos of ACCESS Twine will be available throughout IBC on the ACCESS stand (14.D14).
